The best thing about Denmark Road is the sense of family felt by peers and teachers. We are a community who support each other to be ourselves and I love the freedom we have to express your own individuality.
I particularly enjoy being part of the musical communities here. I am a part of Jazz Band, Orchestra and multiple Choirs. You really get to know everybody and get to have fun rehearsing and putting on regular performances. Olympiads in Maths and Biology have been great experiences too.
I've also taken opportunities to explore other interests such as engineering through the Greenpower club and STAAR Challenge. With the Greenpower team we built, tested and raced our own car - breaking down boundaries for women in engineering! In the future I hope to become an Engineer for the English Space Programme and know experiences like this will help me get there.
