I’m Nell and I’m on the netball team, football team and do tennis, badminton and rounders clubs. In the future I’d like to be a frontlines journalist. I love that my year group is full of likeminded peers like me that also love to learn. We can take every opportunity to learn new things and go new places in a safe environment.
I’ve had opportunities to see plays, visit castles, museums, beaches and much more. One of the best weeks of my life was a week long geography trip to Iceland and a week in Newquay! Our invest days are also amazing opportunities to learn and discover things off timetable, an example is our drugs awareness day which has stuck with me for years.
The community and bonds created through both staff and students are the best thing about being a student here. For example my teachers would happily stay working with me into lunchtime. Also house music/dance/netball/rounders and sports day are always amazing.
