Best ever results at High School for Girls

High School Sixth Form students achieved their best ever results in the top grades. The proportion of qualifications at A*-B rose significantly this year from 67% to 76.1%, testimony to the dedication, enthusiasm and hard work of both staff and students
In the national context of falling numbers of A*-A grades being achieved at A-Level, the percentage of qualifications at these grades increased from 36.3% to 41.6%. The High School Sixth Form students achieved above the national average of A* grades.
Individual students had fantastic success. Over a fifth of the cohort achieved at least 3 As in all three of their A2 qualifications. Students have secured their places on their chosen courses including Oxbridge, Russell Group of universities, Music Colleges and on Art Foundation courses.
In addition to the outstanding results at the top end, 93.3% of all qualifications were graded at least C or above with the overall pass mark at A-Level at 100%.
