Discover Realise Honour Shape

Primary Science Festival

Nearly 200 pupils and their teachers came to the sixth Gloucester School’s Partnership Science Festival, held at High School for Girls, Gloucester.

The event saw pupils bring an activity to share with pupils from other schools. We had Helium balloons and supernovas this year as the theme was ‘Out of this world’, in honour of Tim Peake’s space mission.  Students from the High School shared their love of Science and Mathematics too, captivating their young visitors.  We are very grateful for support from EDF which allowed us to provide free coach transport for the primary pupils. There were also experiments on the big screen and outside which involved making lots of mess and showing the effect of coke and mentos!
