Lauren performed in the Piano solo grade 8 (18 years and under) class where she played Grieg's Nocturne no. 4.  This was the same piece Lauren played in the recent Year 13 Leavers' Concert last week. 

Against tough opposition, Lauren achieved an excellent second place. She is now looking forward to playing percussion on Sunday, 15^th May in the Keith Nutland Award for Festival Young Musician of the Year. The competition begins at 7.00 pm in Cheltenham Town Hall.  We wish her the very best of luck.
