Provision to support SEND students
We have a continuous approach to ensuring all our students receive they most effective teaching approaches through our responsive, robust professional growth programme.
Our tutoring programme is also responsive and tutors are trained to review in class provision with students. We encourage a coaching culture within our students so they become the Leaders of their own Learning
Students identified with specific need will be supported on a 1:1, small group or class level intervention. As a school we believe the best place for a student to learn is in the classroom so interventions usually take place around these times, to enable students to have disrupted yet supported educational experience.
The interventions come under the following categories:
Area of Need |
Example of Intervention |
SEMH |
|
Cognition and Learning |

Communication and Interaction |

Physical and Medical Needs |
