March 2021 Reopening: The Same But Different
This mini site acts as an informal guide for all students and their parents at Denmark Road High School, to help us return to school as safely as possible from 8th March 2021.
The nature of the situation and the potential changing guidance means that it will very much be ‘live’ in nature; the website will be kept up-to-date and of course you will be notified of any changes and where to find the latest information.
Please read all sections thoroughly. Should you have any questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The guidance from the DfE continues to state the main priorities for school return are for all students to return full-time and for them to have access to a broad curriculum.
As per our return in September 2020, this will require students having access to specialist areas and resources on the site and this would be impossible if we were to zone year groups into specific areas of the school. We will therefore continue to make adaptations to classrooms, impose a one-way system and minimise contact between year group bubbles. Our approach is of course in accordance with important health and safety guidance issued by the government.
Further specific details can be found in each section of this mini site. Please use the menu system to navigate the various sections.
