Do I Need To Attend Year 10 and Year 12 On-Site Provision?

The school site is currently closed to all staff and students (bar students whose parents are key workers or students who are vulnerable and staff able to supervise, see section ‘ Mini Denmark Road’).

Year 10 and Year 12: Face to Face Contact

In accordance with government guidance the school will re-open for students in Years 10 and 12 for some face-to-face contact. This will occur week commencing 29th June for Year 10 and week commencing 6th July for Year 12. Students in each year group will attend site for one day and take part in Academic Review sessions with subject staff.  Details of the format of the days are  here

Should I attend?

There are certain groups that should still not attend school. Students and staff who belong to groups classified as extremely vulnerable to Covid-19 infection or who live in the same household as someone who belongs to one of these groups should not attend school site. The NHS guidance to the these groups is found here. Students and staff within these categories will attend Academic Review sessions online.

This guidance also states that those who are at moderate risk should work from home if they are able. They may however attend site if they feel assured it is safe to do so. Please see the risk assessment of measures the school has taken to make the school site safe  here.
