DRHS September 2020: The Same But Different
This mini site acts as an informal guide for all students and their parents at Denmark Road High School, to help us return to school as safely as possible in September 2020.
The nature of the situation and the potential changing guidance means that it will very much be ‘live’ in nature; the website will be kept up-to-date and of course you will be notified of any changes and where to find the latest information.
Please read all sections thoroughly. Should you have any questions, email email@example.com.
Having looked at the guidance from the DfE we agree with their view that the main priorities for DRHS are for all students to return to school full-time and for them to have access to a broad curriculum.
To do this will require students having access to specialist areas and resources on the site and this would be impossible if we were to zone year groups into specific areas of the school. We will therefore make adaptations to classrooms, impose a one-way system and minimise contact between year group bubbles. Our approach is of course in accordance with important health and safety guidance issued by the government.
Further specific details can be found in each section of this mini site. Please use the menu system to navigate the various sections.
In addition to the information in this mini-website there is a formal Risk Assessment. This is attached below:
