1859 - Mrs Wood's advert proves she had started an establishment before Mrs Goodricke.

1861 - Mrs Goodricke started an “Establishment for board and education” of young ladies at Suffolk House, Eastgate Street, Gloucester.  (Taken from My Brook Became a River).

1864 - Suffolk House was still in use as a school, now run by Mrs Leo.  There had been several other owners.
