This is a real demonstration of the excellent work we do at the High School.  It has been awarded for the excellent results in GCSE music last year.  More than 20% of the overall Key Stage 4 cohort at the High School achieved an A*-C in GCSE music, putting us in the top 87 schools across England.  In fact, the High School for Girls’ specific ranking is 84.

The ISM is a subject association for music educators and looks after more than 7,500 members who work as classroom teachers, instrumental and vocal teachers, performers and composers.
