It has been a very busy term with a myriad of different activities and experiences over and above the learning in the classroom. Students have indeed helped themselves by engaging in these enriching experiences but also demonstrated their generosity of heart in helping others to succeed and through community engagement.

Thank you to the Senior Team, House Officials and Senior Prefects

This term marks the end of tenure for our Year 13 leaders.  I would like to thank them all for their support of the school throughout the past year and for conducting their duties so professionally and always with a smile.  They have all been excellent ambassadors for the school.  House officials have adeptly organised music and sporting events, motiving the masses to perform for the good of the team.  My particular thanks go to Poppy, Jacob, Anna and Sophie, our Senior Team of 2017-18.  They have represented the student body and organised many events and assemblies, developing superb leadership qualities. 

The lady who is everywhere!

As you walk about our school there is a smiling face you will see along the corridors, in the work areas and serving lunches.  She is without doubt the glue that holds us together.  Marilyn Burden has faithfully served our community for 27 years and always, always with a smile.  Marilyn, we have been so fortunate to work with you for so many years and wish you all happiness in your retirement.

Although the ‘beast from the east’ may visit us once more over this holiday, I am sure we are all looking forward to a break and time to share with loved ones.  I wish you all a very happy holiday and look forward to the excitement of the new term to come.
